The pop trio folkshilfe has come to stay. With their fifth studio album “bunt”, the band deals with the ups and downs of recent years: from dark phases of loss and grief, to their success, their band friendship, the all-too-human and love. The result is a colorful cross-section of life, which they present on stage. “In addition to all the wonderful moments together as a band and encounters off stage, the death of my father was definitely the most drastic experience of my life so far,” says singer Florian Ritt. “Our songs allow me to deal with all facets of life in a different way. Everything that hits us on a daily basis finds a place to process in our songs.” …
folkshilfe have been doing what they have been known for for over 10 years now: pop music that doesn’t fit into any box. Their unique blend of “Quetschn”, synthesizer and dialect reaches people of all ages and stages of life.
Ever since their last Amadeus nomination for the successful album “Vire” (with hits such as “Schena Mensch”, “Hau di her” and “Najo eh”), it has been clear that folkshilfe are riding an unstoppable wave of success. They not only inspire the radio landscape, but also fill the halls with their sold-out concerts throughout the German-speaking world.

With Marten, Austria gets to hear a new, powerful and charismatic “modern dialect” pop. The everyday poetic dialect language in combination with a modern international sound and his unmistakable, impressive voice give Marten his special, absolute recognition value.
Under his real name, Martin Furtlehner was also able to showcase his talent convincingly in the 2022 Starmania season, where he made it into the top 4 and narrowly missed out on victory. In this way, he was able to win over a large fan base and is now represented with his songs on Austria’s biggest radios.
