– ALBUM RELEASE SHOW “PERTETUUM” –
Sprawling psychedelic rock from the 70s, delicately interwoven with various facets of Austrian musical tradition. What initially reads like a stylistic pluralistic potpourri, the band Amanda forms into a harmonious unity and paints multifaceted pictures with sounds. Supposed opposites such as expansive, atmospheric soundscapes, drive-driven rock and fragile melancholy merge into a self-contained whole and Amanda takes listeners on strange journeys through the vastness of their own sonic universe. The multifaceted shaping of this very own sonic cosmos is also what Amanda began with her first two albums and is now consistently continuing with the new studio album Perpetuum. As a work in its own right, Perpetuum reveals unknown facets of Amanda’s sound world and can nevertheless be understood as the third part of a trilogy – as a musical travelogue into previously unexplored realms of Amanda’s universe. …

The music project My Friend Peter stirs up dust and mischievously blows it into the faces of a willing audience. The mastermind behind this glare is multi-instrumentalist Benedikt Brands from Graz. The factotum is now supported live by Patrick Windischbauer (bass), Paul Probst (guitar) and Maximilian Zeller (drums). My Friend Peter has already shared the stage with Holy Wave, Fenster and Molly. The debut album SPEAK was released in 2020 and the instrumental album Shuffle Waffle Muffle Duffle and Other Stories Volume 1 in 2021 via Numavi Records. In 2022, My Friend Peter celebrated the 5th anniversary of the outstanding album In Between (2017), which was released on vinyl for the first time with La Pochette Surprise Records from Hamburg and Numavi Records from Vienna.
