2023 saw the release of Feine Sahne Fischfilet’s last album. With the longplayer entitled “Alles glänzt”, the band from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern once again made it to the top of the charts, reaching number 3, and subsequently achieved what is commonly known as the “big breakthrough”. This was unusual for a band that was founded in 2004 by a couple of schoolmates in the province outside Pomerania, primarily to get things going in their immediate environment, not to lament and wait for others to do something for them, but to set themselves straight in every respect, privately, politically and otherwise. …
“Wir kommen in Frieden” is the first single and also the title track of Feine Sahne Fischfilet’s new album, which will be released on May 30, 2025.
With a collage of many of their song lyrics, the band reflects on the wild trip that has taken them from the Vorpommersche Provinz through many trials and tribulations to the top of the German-language music scene.
