The breakfast roll that ends up on the buttery side, the shoelace that breaks at the wrong moment, the bus that drives away in front of you: Who hasn’t experienced those days in life that just don’t mean well for you? Veronika Forkel, known as Piggy, has a whole life full of such days. At least that’s how she sees it. And to be on the safe side, Piggy hardly dares to step outside the house. This calls the King of Pigs and his two ministers onto the scene – because anyone who is called Piggy is one of them, and a life like that simply doesn’t go on a pig’s back! The three weighty visitors are determined to put an end to Veronika’s run of bad luck. But how? …

Peppered with good humor and lots of music, the family play by Martin Brachvogel and Werner Holzwarth (author of the popular children’s book “Vom kleinen Maulwurf, der wollen wissen, wer ihm auf den Kopf gemacht hat”) is dedicated to the people of this world who see everything as black and no longer believe in themselves, who can’t find their way out of their tunnel full of mishaps, bad luck and breakdowns on their own, and provides them with a very special breakdown service: friendship! And, incidentally, it becomes clear that pigs are not only better than their oink, but that they are also perfectly suited as expert animals for young unlucky piglets …
