In the final weeks before a premiere, the energies of all departments are focused solely on the “one” day when the curtain rises for the audience for the first time. And it is precisely at this time of greatest excitement and most intense debate that there is an opportunity on a Sunday morning, usually two weeks before the premiere, to take a look at the upcoming production. Of course, the focus is then particularly on the “leading team”: directors, choreographers, set and costume designers, conductors and dramaturges.
