Despite these challenges, INA finds a positive perspective on ageing. “I consider it a privilege that I can get to know myself and life better and better, that I can develop and change. Every decade has brought me closer to myself, and I experience that as a great liberation.”

But while many women have mixed feelings about the transition into their 40s, INA REGEN sees an opportunity to turn these challenges into opportunities. She emphasizes how important it is for women in this stage of life to be visible and heard. “More and more often, I meet female colleagues who tell me how the stages and opportunities become fewer and fewer from their 40s onwards and how they feel more and more pushed into invisibility with each passing year. I firmly believe that we can rewrite the narrative around ageing together.”

Internationally prominent actresses and artists are also campaigning for these issues in order to change and expand the image of women over a certain age. INA REGEN is aware of the responsibility and calls for more exciting, diverse roles and lifestyles for women over 40. With her passion for feminist issues, she wants to raise awareness of ageism. Her upcoming 40th birthday will not only be a personal anniversary, but also a stage to shine a light on these important issues and initiate change.
