With extraordinary vocal power and profound lyrics, Verena Wagner makes music that gets under your skin. Her dialect pop combines powerful melodies with poetic honesty – sometimes combative, sometimes vulnerable, but always captivating. After her successful debut album “Nirgendwohin”, with which she won the Rock the Island Contest in 2022 and opened the Ö3 stage at the Donauinselfest, the second album now follows: “Pionier”. …
With “Pionier”, the artist enters new musical territory and combines her unique sound world with modern sounds and honest stories about dreams, resistance and the courage to go on – even if the path is uncertain. Verena Wagner has long since arrived on the Austrian music scene with her songs. Her songs are played on the radio throughout Austria, and she was recently heard live on Ö3 Weihnachtswunder.
On stage, Verena Wagner is more than a singer – she is a storyteller, a fighter, a seeker. With an authentic stage presence and a sound that is sometimes tender, sometimes overwhelming, she takes her audience on a journey full of intensity and genuine emotion. With her captivating, exciting and honest stories, she makes her audience laugh and cry in equal measure – and gives them goosebumps that last a long time.

– Special Guest: The Mayerin –
There are dreamers and there are doers. Mayerin is both. What began in 2017 is, years later, an act that has never stopped turning its visions into reality. Courage to change and artistic authenticity are the driving forces behind the singer/songwriter.
With her three albums released to date (Sternschnuppn, Libellen and LIEBE) and an Amadeus Austrian Music Award, the songwriter shows what is possible when you do what you love and love what you do. Anyone who knows Mayerin from the radio (14 singles are on air throughout Austria) or the TV shows in which she is a guest (Promi Millionenshow, Starnächte, Gartenparty der Stars, Stöckl etc.) will be more than surprised at her live concerts with band. Because pop can do anything, and so can new Austropop. That’s why Mayerin shows herself in all facets, and there are many. With her voice, her songs and her personal impulses, the artist hits the nerve of the times and delivers a program for all those who want more in life than just to function.
The singer-songwriter shines. She stands for courage and love. And above all, she fights for people to stop selling themselves short… She does this with her seemingly inexhaustible source of joie de vivre and positivism, with her profundity and the message: “Believe in yourself, no matter what!”
