Prima Facie

Suzie Miller’s globally acclaimed courtroom drama is back on our program in 2025/26 – from now on in the Schauraum! The gripping monologue of a young female defence lawyer who becomes a victim of rape and fights for justice and recognition in her new role focuses on the taboo subject of sexualized violence and relentlessly exposes the weaknesses of a male-dominated legal system. Because the themes of “Prima Facie” have lost none of their social relevance even after two seasons, it is particularly important to us to keep this play in the repertoire. To this end, we are transferring the production from the Schauspielhaus to the Schauraum and showing it closer and more captivating than ever.
