During this time, Thomas Maurer, Robert Palfrader and Florian Scheuba have lost the dark hair of their youth, the – fictitious – state artists’ villa and their – real – television presence. …

On the other hand, seven federal chancellors, one female chancellor and one oida-was-that-just-wannabe-chancellor have appeared and mostly disappeared again during this time.
But the state artists are still there, slightly weathered but not at all tired. And that’s why they take a meticulously prepared look back at the events of the past year. Satirical, trenchant, state artist style.
