The scenic concert “Difference:ism” examines the influence of gender and culture on decisions and personal experience. The performance brings together four sound artists and musicians from different cities and continents on stage. In their autobiographical research, they question gender differences and social influences with a view to their cultural backgrounds. Electronic beats, violin, noises and voices combine with sound and image recordings from their respective cities of origin to create an acoustic-visual dialog. …

The performance brings together four sound artists and musicians from different cities and even continents on stage: in their autobiographical research, they question gender differences and social influences with a view to their personal cultural backgrounds. Self-written texts, electronic beats, violin, experimental sounds, noises and voices are combined with sound and image recordings from their respective cities of origin to create an acoustic-visual dialog. The scenic realization is dramaturgically and technically accompanied by F. Wiesel and will be performed in the Konsole.
