King Lion asks for a dance. Chickens, elephants, tortoises, a swan and many other animals follow the invitation and celebrate a fun-filled animal carnival. Nobody wants to miss out on this unique festival … They are all there! There is wild dancing and music. But how does an elephant actually dance?

The Carnival of the Animals is probably the best-known work by the legendary French composer Camille Saint-Saëns.
With its special charm and humor, the work has conquered concert halls around the world and the hearts of listeners young and old.
Now members of Ballett Graz want to conjure up an imaginative ballet to this music – for everyone, young and young at heart.
