The final of the Meistersinger Competition has been a highlight of the Graz Summer of Culture for decades. Eight finalists perform in front of a prominent international jury and the audience in the Helmut List Hall. Many former winners of the competition are now performing on the world’s major stages and look back fondly on their first success in Graz. The orchestra’s traditional encores conclude the festive concert evening.
