Let’s start with the past. To what extent do the four mothers correspond to what is associated with the archetype of the mother? What expectations did they have of themselves as mothers? Did they want to conform to the traditional images, or did they want to do it “completely differently”? To what extent did they succeed in what they set out to do? Or did they perhaps not set out to do anything at all? The Rabtaldirndln interview their mothers without shame, without fear, without taboos and thus reveal the gaps between construction and reality.
