STUBNBLUES 2.0: „Wo da Rauch hiziagt“

The band re-formed after the death of Willi Resetarits (because the music must go on) and now consists of Bina Blumencron (vocals), Marlene Lacherstorfer (bass), Stefan Schubert (vocals and guitars), Markus Marageter (piano and Hammond organ), Hubert Hofherr (harmonica and vocals) and Camillo Jenny (percussion). The lyrics of “Wo da Rauch hiziagt” metaphorize about leaving too soon, not understanding enough, only suspecting some things, and that you couldn’t hang out the washing in the Ruhr area because it would be black from the smoky air within minutes. Says Stefan Schubert, the author of this song.
Georg Laube, the Graz singer-songwriter, says of the album: “Singing is the most beautiful language in the world.
