In a concentrated week from July 14 – 18, 2026, artists from Italy, Taiwan, Germany, China, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland and many other countries will compete in the international a cappella competition vokal.total. In addition to many new friendships, contacts and valuable experiences, the coveted Ward Swingle Awards are up for grabs. For interested singers, there will be a varied workshop program on singing, voice training and other musical topics. …
vokal.total beatbox battle: Two competitors, one microphone and only one person advances to become champion. In an exciting single-elimination competition, hand-picked beatboxers bring the air to a boil with rhythmic waves of sound that leave no one untouched.
vokal.total loop battle: A mixture of highly trained voices and a delicate use of electronics and effects: Loopstations have made it possible for a single person to create a soundscape within seconds that sweeps the audience away and leaves them in absolute amazement.
