The “Spring Awakening” concert welcomes spring with romantic poems and amusing and touching love stories by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Rainer Maria Rilke, Heinrich Heine and others. The concert will be musically framed by the “Blumenlieder” by Robert Stolz. With this song cycle, the Graz composer created small musical works of art with depth. Rhyme and melody meet in the concert “Frühlingserwachen”. Where the poem ends, the music begins and where the music is not enough, the poem gives meaning. Together they form a “sound text” that transports the listener into a “poetic world” and touches the soul.
