After a celebrated appearance at the Nova Rock Festival, a successful tour through Austria, Germany and Switzerland, sold-out shows and the performance of the Austrian national anthem at the MotoGP on the Red Bull Ring in front of an audience of millions, the four musicians from Graz are now coming to the Dom im Berg as part of their debut album tour Everleaf (release date: 20.03.26).…
Since their foundation in 2020, they have been a fixture on the local music scene. Their songs combine the vibe of the early 2000s with a modern indie rock aesthetic – honest, emotional and uncompromisingly real. They have already performed on stage with acts such as Ida Mae (UK/US), Cardinal Black (UK) and Leap (UK) and most recently toured with Steaming Satellites (AT).
With songs like Blame It On The Nights, Velvet Wasted found their place on Austrian radio and were played on FM4, Radio 88.6, Radio Soundportal and even BBC Radio (UK). Ö-Ticket has already drawn parallels with indie rock legends Kings of Leon.
After two EPs (Saturday Night, Chasing Hearts) and numerous singles, the band is now opening a new chapter with their debut album Everleaf. A chapter in which they show all their facets for the first time and take their mantra of opposites to a new high – flying and falling, dreaming and failing, velvet and wasted. An interplay of the quiet and loud, the soft and rough sounds of life – all united in a live show that has never before been experienced by the band.
