On 21.12.2025 at 6 pm, Woody’s Machine will be playing songs and lyrics about the times, naming challenges that have not yet been properly resolved in society. Songs for children and Christmas carols are just as appropriate for the times as brand new translations into German of songs by Steven Foster, Woody Guthrie, Joe Hill, Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, Steve Earle, etc. The popular Graz actor Franz Solar will perform texts to provide a literary foundation and round off the content of the songs. …
Woody’s Machine
Founded in 2017 to stage Woody Guthrie’s story and songs for theater and concert stages. Further developed to preserve songs, texts and messages about historical living conditions of people, against war, against exploitation and songs of the labor movement in memory. Woody’s Machine plays everywhere where meaning, content, perspective and reflection are desired and recognized.
