Hans Söllner, who is often billed as the “wuida Hund von Reichenhall”, has been stirring up controversy for 40 years. His uncompromising stance for a self-determined life, including the fight for the legalization of marijuana, has repeatedly brought him
to court. Explicit, sometimes vulgar texts also led to numerous battles with politicians and the judiciary over questions of freedom of expression and artistic freedom. At the beginning of his career, the musician escaped the authorities’ crackdown with lawsuits and house searches through radical formulations and brutal self-exposure.
Now he has become more thoughtful. He has had to realize that he cannot change his attackers. The change is probably also a question of age; Hans Söllner turned 70 in 2025 and has learned that what he does is a gift – that he is an ambassador. “I
try to take away people’s fear that they might be too bad for something,” says Söllner. “If you listen to yourself, you realize that life makes its own rules. It’s just that we’re systematically being driven out of our minds that we can still have this feeling.”

The concert promises not only musical highlights, but also a special atmosphere in which community and joy are at the forefront.
