The group “Baba Yaga” is one of the most exciting newcomers on the world music scene and brings boundless energy to the stage at their concerts. Inspired by the Slavic mythical figure “Baba Yaga,” the five musicians from three countries blend Eastern European sounds, klezmer, Balkan beats, and gypsy jazz into a rousing sound full of passion and freedom. With their debut album “Grenzenlos,” they celebrate what unites us across all borders and invite you to experience diversity, community, and pure joy of life. …
A special highlight: This time, they will be joined by members of the Styrian Klezmore Orchestra—a high-energy ensemble led by clarinetist and composer Moritz Weiß, who is dedicated to the musical worlds of klezmer and Balkan music. The result is an intense concert experience that invites everyone to dance and dream together.
