Hugo von Hofmannsthal’s classic meets our present day in a contemporary, clear production: direct, sensual, accessible. Instead of rigid pathos, this version relies on ensemble narration, on addressing the audience directly and on an open, modern visual and musical language.
What makes this JEDERMANN special:
Every city writes itself into the play.
The table company reflects Graz – its voices, faces, attitudes. In this way, the classic becomes a local event with supra-regional appeal.
