ORF star Franz Posch plays Dixieland! For this special concert at the Komödie Graz, the host of “Mei liabste Weis” swaps his harmonica for a jazz trumpet and his traditional costume for a black suit, celebrating the 40th anniversary of his band “Dixielanders Hall”:

Franz Posch founded the band in 1987 together with Bernhard Fauster and Bertl Posch.
The passionate Tyrolean musician is one of Austria’s best jazz trumpeters! With seven CD releases and numerous international tours, the “Dixielanders Hall” have left an impressive mark on the music scene: Performances with greats such as the Chris Barber Jazz Band, trumpeter Oscar Klein, singer Sandy Lomax, and the Dukes of Dixieland from New Orleans are unforgettable. Since September 2025, the band has been playing again with nearly its original lineup.
