Too many crises at the same time, too many supervillains, too many grindy digital effects, too few positive characters to identify with:

You’d like to have something like a remote control, one with which you could switch to another, better one.
But at least the movie that’s currently playing isn’t boring. And you can always hope for a happy ending. And laughter, they say, helps.
