As a former member of the Lionel Hampton Orchestra, Renato Chicco has played with the greatest jazz musicians of our time. His powerful Hammond sound and deep swing form the heartbeat of the trio. Zoran Schmitz adds a lively gypsy jazz spirit that interweaves the tradition of Django with the Balkans. His lyrical phrasing and fiery improvisations give the group an unmistakable touch. Rooted in the Styrian music scene, Andreas Reisenhofer gives the trio a dynamic drive and combines European elegance with modern jazz energy with refined sensitivity.
Jazz standards, gypsy jazz classics and selected pop and gospel songs await us on May 26 in the Schauraum.
