To round off the season, the multicultural women’s choir SoSamma brings summery sounds to the stage: after the traditional concert at Christmas time, the choir now invites you to a guest performance for the first time before the summer break – an evening full of joie de vivre, rhythm and vacation atmosphere.…
Together with the dancers from Las Puro Fuego, the already acclaimed program will be presented again. The focus is on songs from Cuba and Latin America, which meet powerful Balkan sounds and are complemented by highlights from the choir’s diverse repertoire.
A must for all lovers of Latin American music, which gets you in the mood for summer with lots of energy and impressive sounds. An evening that knows no musical boundaries – surprising, touching and rousing at the same time.
The 60 or so female voices will be accompanied by the musicians Werner Radzik (piano), Sašenko Prolić (bass), Bernhard Wimmer (drums) and Vladimir Vesić (percussion).
About SoSamma
SoSamma has been an integral part of the choir scene in Graz for over 20 years. Under the direction of singer Vesna Petković, who was awarded the Graz Women’s Prize for her commitment, the choir has developed into a lively association that promotes cultural encounters and musical diversity.
Special guests: International Salsa Ladies Group “Las Puro Fuego” under the direction of Danica Radulović
Founded in 2018 by Danica Radulović, the salsa show group from Graz brings together dancers from all over the world and wows audiences on national and international stages with its captivating choreographies.
