In a concentrated week from July 14 – 18, 2026, artists from Italy, Taiwan, Germany, China, Austria, Hungary, Switzerland and many other countries will compete in the international a cappella competition vokal.total. In addition to many new friendships, contacts and valuable experiences, the coveted Ward Swingle Awards are up for grabs. For interested singers, there will be a varied workshop program on singing, voice training and other musical topics. …
This competition focuses on a cappella singing with microphones. Their use opens up new tonal and stylistic possibilities that have shaped pop, jazz and related genres in particular. Amplified voices, whose sound is kept as pure as possible, create an intimate and sensitive acoustic effect.
