AIMS 2026 "Entlang der Donau"
AIMS 2026 "Entlang der Donau"

Information
Many musical works have their origins on the Danube, the heart of Europe. Our journey takes us from Vienna, where Mozart and Korngold created their masterpieces, to Budapest, where Lehár took his first steps. Our Danube steamboat trip ends with Bartók’s masterful “Concerto for Orchestra”, which builds a musical bridge between Hungary and America – the work was premiered in America. Look forward to familiar and rare pieces along the Danube – even apart from the world-famous waltz. …
