Tanztheater Anastasia Ferrer | "Vier Farben der Liebe"

Each couple is defined by an archetypal emotion that is also color-coded and gradually revealed through flashbacks:

Harmony and Joy – YELLOW
Conflict – BURGUNDY RED
Submissive Devotion and Power – BLUE

The dancer in RED, who symbolizes passion and intense emotions, plays a central role. She is not part of a fixed couple, but acts as a catalyst who transforms relationships and upsets the fragile balance between the characters.

For the new production on September 20, 2026, the first part of the piece in particular will be expanded and deepened: the figures in black and white will take center stage, embodying the tension between darkness and light. From this contrast, a transformation unfolds in which the neutral black dancer evolves into the dancer in RED—the embodiment of passion, longing, and emotional transgression.

This new level is accompanied by two additional pieces by Astor Piazzolla, which will particularly appeal to fans of Argentine tango and lend the production an added emotional intensity.

As the evening progresses, furtive glances and chance touches intensify the attraction between the characters. Jealousy, doubt, and seduction intermingle among the couples, while relationships increasingly dissolve and realign.

In the end, the dancer in RED is left alone—a symbol of the isolating power of passion. Black and white linger like shadow and light, while the characters must confront their own longings and insecurities.

“Four Colors of Love” paints a poetic picture of the diversity of human relationships and invites us to reflect on the power of emotions and the nature of love.
