Simon loves it supersonic,
With kettledrums, lightning, thunderclaps
He eats chili for breakfast, pure and raw,
and says clearly, logically, anyway!
Simon loves the now right now!,
Preferably here, preferably there.
He yawns while sprinting, he dreams while running,
And gets up before the alarm clock rings.…
Simon loves speed very much
But Manuel, he loves him more.
Manuel loves quiet laughter,
Well thought-out, well-planned things.
He irons shirts systematically,
And doesn’t find that extreme either.
He loves notes, neatly sorted,
Has even archived the coincidence.
He loves a dog-eared book,
And still reads the blurb aloud.
Manuel loves it all very much
But he loves his Simon more.
Love and democracy are in crisis. Simon Schwarz and Manuel
Rubey won’t be able to change that. Nevertheless, they have set themselves the goal of understanding love
as an active word again.
They will be presenting their second joint stage program from January 2027. Wild
melodies and big feelings meet small everyday disasters and yet
always end in the question of how we can manage to always
choose love again despite everything.
