An ancient prophecy states: “When the twelfth sun darkens, Britannia will fall. Only those who find the key—half heart, half magic—can reunite humans and the forest folk.” But, let’s be honest: Who actually believes in prophecies? After all, the people of Britannia have other worries, for the land, once famous for its rain, is threatening to dry up! Ever since the magical forest folk were driven out, not only has peace in the land been shattered, but so too has the friendship between Merlin, the wizard, and the fairy queen Mab. Both have left King Arthur’s court, and with them the rain has vanished. While the people flee to Camelot, a nameless girl stumbles into the last magical forest. With uncontrollable magic and a heart caught between two worlds, she finds herself on an adventure filled with strange creatures, surprising friendships, and momentous decisions. The prophesied solar eclipse draws ever closer, and yet no one suspects that this girl carries within her exactly what everyone has been waiting for. …
